We’re a community committed to:
- Joy: The light of life, the people and feelings that make life worth living
- Resistance: The knowledge of and skills necessary to address injustices in our community
- Network: a community supports each other in the name of a shared mission or goal
At the Joy Resistance Network, we believe that joy makes resistance necessary– and joy makes resistance possible. Joy fills our lives with love, laughter and kindness; joy proves that we have so much worth resisting for. Resistance is important and necessary, but often exhausting work. To survive a life of resistance, you cannot do it alone. Resistance requires joy to sustain itself.
